Philadelphia Chippendale mahogany tea table, ca. 1770, the circular dish top tilting on a birdcage and suppressed ball standard, supported by cabriole legs terminating in ball and claw feet, 28 1/2" h., 34 1/2" dia. Provenance: Robert Carlin, Philadelphia.
Age crack to top filled in. Large butterfly added to underside of top. Two feet reattached. Feet pieced out 3/4".
