Philadelphia Chippendale mahogany tall case clock, ca. 1800, the broken arch bonnet enclosing an eight-day works with painted face, inscribed Owen Biddle Philadelphia, over a case with fluted columns and ogee bracket feet, 94'' h.
Condition
Broken arch replaced. Patches and repaired breaks to feet. Patch to door at lock. Repaired breaks to glazed door. Pook & Pook, Inc. does not guarantee clocks to be complete or in working condition. Provenance: Verna Rittenhouse, 1968-2014.
