Philadelphia Chippendale mahogany secretary desk, ca. 1765, with a broken pediment top with candle slides above a lower section with a fitted interior, four drawers, and bold ogee feet, 7'11" h., 40" w.
10" d. Restoration to broken pediment. Top and bottom married. Losses to blind fretwork. Prospect door replaced. Sporadic inconsistencies to varnish. Provenance: Lots 913 -1105 are from The Estate of Tremayne Selig, Philadelphia, PA.
