Philadelphia Chippendale mahogany dining chair, ca. 1770, with shell carved cupids bow crest, above a solid splat, above a trapezoidal seat and shell carved apron supported by shell carved cabriole legs ending in ball and claw feet.
New blocks. Two returns restored. Nails added to shoe. Highly refinished. Seat height - 18". Overall height - 38 1/2".
