Philadelphia Chippendale cherry tall case clock, ca. 1786, the broken arch bonnet with carved rosettes enclosing a brass face with moon phase and 8-day works, inscribed "Benjamin Rittenhouse Anno 1786", above a waist with arched door flanked by fluted quarter columns, over a base with applied tombstone panel supported by ogee bracket feet, 94" h.
