Philadelphia bowback Windsor armchair, ca. 1800, attributed to John Letchworth, retaining an old layered paint history, the underside of the seat with old hand written history of the chair descent in the family of Thomas Wistar, also bearing the original printed invitation to the makers funeral in 1843.
