Pennsylvania William & Mary walnut blanket chest, probably Lancaster County, ca. 1735, with a lift lid, the front with 2 bold raised panels, and two drawers, all resting on bold bun feet, retaining original wrought iron strap hinges and exceptional fine old surface, 27" h., 48 1/2" w. Provenance: Israel Sack, Inc. A copy of a letter regarding this piece accompanies the lot.
Parts: Two keys and information/letter. Lacking lock grab. Brasses replaced.
