Pennsylvania William & Mary walnut blanket chest, ca. 1715, the thumb molded oblong top over a recessed panel case and 2 short drawers, the square side stiles extending to form the feet. 30 1/4" h., 51 1/2" w. Provenance: Israel Sack, 1957.
Hinges replaced with 1 1/2" strip patch to rear of top. Till added. Lock replaced. Brasses replaced. One drawer has replaced moldings.
