Pennsylvania watercolor and ink on paper fraktur bookplate, done for Maria Hoffler, 1823, with a red, green, and yellow wreath made of tulip vines and flowers enclosing a colorful script, 7 1/4" x 4 7/8".
Contemporary frame. Not examined out of frame. Toning. Small sporadic stains. Very tiny loss to edge. Stains to edges. Glued to mat with green and yellow striped border. Minor creases to center. 2'' tear to right edge. Provenance: Lots 1-155, the Collection of Jack & Mary Louise Krumrine, Philadelphia, PA.
