Pennsylvania walnut schrank dated 1762, the boldly molded cornice above 2 doors with applied astragal panels and molded pilasters, above an ogee base supported by bun feet, 81" h., 72" w.
All backboards replaced except for the right board, which is hard yellow pine. The other woods present are poplar, cherry moldings (ebonized), hard yellow pine, white cedar. The front feet are replaced. The origin of this piece may be Germantown, PA.
