Berks County, Pennsylvania swivel barrel long rifle, approximately .50 caliber, attributed to Adam Angstadt (1740-1812), having a boldly figured tiger maple stock with engraved four piece, openwork patch box, crescent brass butt plate which extends to comb, engraved cheek rest with pick holder, and simple brass side plate, there are nine silver inlays, including an oval star with sawtooth border, heavy octagonal barrels, each with its own pan and frizzens, 36 3/4" barrels.
