Pennsylvania cherry and birds-eye maple slant front desk, dated 1829, the fall front enclosing a fitted interior with prospect door, featuring a fraktur like depiction of President Andrew Jackson, over a case with spiral turned columns and painted American eagle capitols, resting on a frame with turned feet, 48 1/2" h., 41 1/2" w. Provenance: Purchased from a home in Sellersville, Pennsylvania in 2010.
Overall very good condition. Minor surface imperfections to sides. Hinges replaced.
