Pennsylvania redware toy stove, second quarter of the 19th c., with ash grate and holder, three lidded pots, and a kettle, in dark brown glaze, one pot and kettle in a clear glaze sponged with brown, together with another inkwell and miniature teapot, 9" h., 8 1/2" w. Listed in Pennsylvania Folk Art, Allentown Art Museum Exhibit 1974. Provenance: A private collection; Bari & Phil Axelband, Leonia, NJ 1984; Sotheby Parke-Bernet sale, April 29, 1978.
