Pennsylvania red, navy blue, green, and white jacquard coverlet by Samuel B. Musselman, the corner blocks inscribed "S.B. Musselman Coverlet Weaver, Hiltown, Bucks, Co., 1859" and "This. Coverlet Belongs To. Me, Anna Funck., .1859.", the border with a double row of stars and rooster and swag decoration, the interior with sunbursts and floral sprays inside of diamonds, 99" x 82". This lot is pictured in Coverlets by Melinda Zongor and Joseph D. Shein, pgs. 200 and 201.
Overall very good condition. Some fringe loss. Minor stains. Minor small losses.
