Pennsylvania Queen Anne walnut secretary, ca. 1740, probably Chester County, the molded cornice over 2 scalloped panel doors enclosing elaborately fitted interiors with multiple valuables drawers and scalloped pigeon holes and secret compartments, above a fall front desk and 4 drawers supported by bracket feet, 85" h., 39" w. Provenance: Joe Kindig Jr. & Son Antiques.
Feet replaced. Some hardware replaced. Restoration to cornice. Candledrawers rebuilt. Two drawers with replaced bottoms.
