Pennsylvania Queen Anne walnut armchair, ca. 1750, possibly Lancaster County, with a high scalloped back, vasiform splat flanked by molded arms terminating in unusual modified knuckle hand holds, plank seat, and cabriole front legs terminating in trifid feet braced with an atypical downward sloping side stretcher. Provenance: Joe Kindig Jr. & Son Antiques. A copy of correspondence referring to this item accompanies the lot.

Condition

Parts: Information/Letter. Large repair where crest meets splat. One front knee return replaced with patch to seat frame above. Large chip and repair to one front foot.
