Pennsylvania printed and hand-drawn watercolor and ink on paper baptism and birth certificate for Georg Washington Benfer, 1835 with central heart flanked by stylized flowers and vines, Union County, 7 3/4" x 9 3/4". Provenance: June Stout.
Certificate says: George Washington Benfer Union Township Union County PA Parents Jojann and Beibe Elizabeth (all in German). Losses to lower center - 2" x 1 1/2" and 1" x 1/2". Some abrasion. Fold splits.
