Pennsylvania painted poplar Dutch cupboard, ca. 1840, retaining its original flame grained surface and white doors, 83" h., 51 1/2" w. Provenance: Rankin Buterbaugh, New Holland 1977, who purchased it at auction in Schoeneck, Lancaster County.

Condition

Bonnet trim - 56 1/2" w. Upper case - 50" w. Lower case - 51 3/4" w. Baseboard trim - 52 1/2" w. Overall good with expected wear. Doors are an old second coat of white. Grooves on all three shelves. Rails on top two shelves. Spoon notches on middle shelf.
