Pennsylvania painted poplar dower chest dated 1798, decorated with two tombstone panels and large heart corners on a blue ground, 26" h., 45 1/2" w.
Lacking lock. Brasses replaced. Two large lip patches to right drawer. One front foot ended out 2 1/2", surface abrasions.
