Pennsylvania painted poplar apothecary cupboard, 19th c., with three upper shelves, above sixteen drawers, resting on straight bracket feet, retaining a period green painted surface, 82 1/2" h., 57 3/4" w. Pictured on the cover of The Colors of the Goschenhoppen and listed #35 on page 22. Provenance: Forgedale Store, Washington Township, Berks County.
Good condition with expected wear consistent with age and use. Color is blue but it has an older yellowed varnish that makes it appear greenish.
