Pennsylvania painted pine dower chest, dated 1814, probably Centre County, inscribed H.L. Baily, with potted tulips, birds and heart corners, 22" h., 47 3/4" w. Provenance: A Maryland collection.
Hardware replaced. Side lid moldings replaced. Lid of the till replaced. Overpainted and cleaned down. Feet replaced.
