Pennsylvania painted pine child's blanket chest, dated 1841, inscribed Annah Hillegass, 17 3/4" h., 24 1/4" w. Provenance: Purchased at local auction from the Hoffman family of East Greenville, Pennsylvania.
Repairs to lid at hinges. No other apparent repairs, restorations, or in-painting.
