Pennsylvania painted dome lid box, early/mid 19th c., with applied reeded panels, retaining its original blue, yellow, and red surface, the back board initialed MH, 9 1/4" x 16 1/4". Provenance: The Collection of Margaret Schiffer.
Minor wear to paint. Age crack to top. Lacking escutcheon. Nice dry surface.
