Pennsylvania painted combback windsor armchair, ca. 1770, the serpentine crest with scrolled ears, over a 7 spindleback, above outward scrolling hand holds, over a shield shaped seat supported by baluster turned legs joined by stretchers, retaining blue over green painted surface.
Top 3" of crest stripped of paint. Otherwise in good condition. No other apparent damages or repairs. Seat height - 15".
