Pennsylvania painted blanket chest, late 18th c., the rectangular molded edge top over a dovetailed case with 3 arched panels, each depicting black urns with red and blue tulips, each inscribed "Johanns Rank", the central panel dated 1798, supported by a molded base and cutout bracket feet, 22 1/2" h., 51 1/2" w.
Minor wear to paint. Heavier wear to edges of feet. Overall good condition.
