Pennsylvania maple treen sugar bowl, late 18th c., bearing a plaque inscribed "Made by Cornelius Weygandt 1713-1799 Bequeathed by his Great gr. gr. grand daughter Mrs. Sallie E. Weygandt Garnier January 31 1896 to his Great gr. gr. grandson Ethan Allan Weaver", 6 1/2" h.
Chips to base. 3" hairline in lid. Crack to side of base, 5". Several chips to base rim.
