Pennsylvania ink and watercolor fraktur, dated 1836, inscribed was made by Samuel Burgard in the year 1836, announcing the birth of John Burgard, March 7th, 1834, with primitive birds, deer and central portrait, probably done by his brother, 7 1/4" x 12 3/4". Provenance: The collection of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Flack, Pennypacker Auctions, April 12th, 1976, lot 326.
