Important Pennsylvania German small needlework collection, ca. 1840's, including a pincushion, 4" x 3 1/2", two miniature needle pockets, 3" h., and five pouches, 8" x 7", one inscribed ASG March 20 1846, all with exquisitely tiny stitches of animals, birds, flowers, trees, etc., done in red and blue on plain weave linen, each piece surrounded by ruffles.
