Pennsylvania Chippendale walnut two-part secretary, ca. 1785, the secret document drawer, inscribed Mr. Bines and his Lad Made this desk in the Month of May 1785, 86 1/2'' h., 39 1/2'' w.
1" patch above top doors. Small losses to molding of slant lid. Repaired break to mid molding return. 2" x 4" patch to right side of top. Brasses replaced. Several repaired breaks and patches to feet. Lower drawer missing bottom right corner.
