Pennsylvania Chippendale walnut tavern table, ca. 1770, the rectangular top overhanging a frame with 3 drawers supported by cabriole legs ending in ball and claw feet, 28 1/2" h., 59 1/2" w., 34" d. This represents a possibly unique use of a ball and claw foot being used on this form.
Restored (Pegs added to secure batons, brasses replaced, two large patches to drawer facings, repaired breaks to two feet, feet ended out 3/4", etc.).
