Pennsylvania Chippendale walnut tall case clock, ca. 1800, the broken arch bonnet with urn and flame finial flanked by floral rosettes, over a white painted face and 8-day works, inscribed "George Faber, Sumnytown", over a waist with arched panel door, flanked by fluted quarter columns, over a base with applied panel, flanked by fluted quarter columns supported by ogee bracket feet, 96" h.
Condition
Parts: two weights, pendulum. Two later blocks have been added to sides of case where sadle board sits. Works are complete. Very old refinish. Repair to central plinth on bonnet. Slight warp. Height - 96" (including finial). We do not guarantee the working condition of clocks. Description should read ca. 1800 NOT ca. 1770.
