Pennsylvania Chippendale walnut tall case clock, ca. 1800, the broken arch bonnet enclosing an eight-day works with rocking ship and painted dial, inscribed John Davis New Holland, 98" h.
Finial seat broken. Loss to tip of finial. Rocking ship mechanism is a later addition. Rear of bonnet corners are clipped. Breaks and losses to base. Base molding replaced. Base unstable. Pook & Pook, Inc. does not guarantee clocks to be complete or in working condition.
