Pennsylvania Chippendale walnut Dutch cupboard, ca. 1790, the molded cornice above 2 glazed doors flanked by fluted quarter columns, resting on a base with 5 drawers and 2 raised panel doors supported by ogee bracket feet, 91" h., 66 1/2" w.
Condition
Two pieces. Top section - 66 1/4" w. (w/o cornice). Bottom section - 66 1/2" w. (w/o overhang). Top section - 72 1/8" w (w/cornice). Bottom section - 69" w. (w/cornice). Depth - 23 1/2" (bottom), 15 1/4" (top). One side return molding on top of base detached. Brasses original. One return molding on base replaced. One rear foot facing replaced. Front feet ended out one inch. Lacking escutcheons. Small screw holes filled in where external clasp was placed on lower drawers.
