Pennsylvania Chippendale walnut drop leaf dining table, ca. 1770, with notched corners and ball and claw feet, 29" h., 19" w., 48" d.
One side has long repairs to leaf at hinges. Repaired sliver break to one foot. Repaired break to length of one leaf. Notched corners look original. Two board top and leaves. Provenance: Lots 1 through 78 are from the collection of Margaret Schiffer, West Chester, Pennsylvania.
