Pennsylvania Chippendale tiger maple tall case clock, late 18th c., with an eight-day brass face works and fan inlaid case, 96" h.
Parts: two weights, winder, key, pendulum. Flaking to moon dial. Feet replaced. Repaired breaks to points of applied lower panel and one with loss. Scrolls replaced on bonnet. Center plynth is replaced. Top arch of astragal door replaced. Interior dial surround - lower board replaced. Several wood dowels added to door frame. Several patches to inlay. Sporadic surface abrasions. Movement not original to case. Back of movement stamped Wilson. Finials replaced. Pook & Pook, Inc. does not guarantee clocks to be complete or in working condition.
