Pennsylvania Chippendale Octorara walnut tall chest, ca. 1770, the molded cornice over a case with 4 short drawers, the center bonnet drawer shell carving, inlaid "MC", over 4 long drawers flanked by fluted quarter columns supported by ogee bracket feet, 64 1/2" h., 38" w.
Original brass. A few large drawer lip losses. Bottom 1 1/2" loss to left front foot facing. Separation to left quarter column at case.
