Pennsylvania Chippendale carved walnut side chair, late 18th c., having a cupid's bow crest rail centering a carved shell, above a pierced and volute carved splat, the slip seat above a shell carved apron continuing to shell carved cabriole legs terminating in ball and claw feet.
Original slip seat. Two small cracks to splat. Overall good condition.
