Pennsylvania Chippendale applewood secretary, ca. 1790, the molded cornice over 2 recessed panel doors, resting on a lower section with fall front enclosing a fitted interior with carved drawer fronts, above 4 drawers supported by bracket feet, 88" h., 38 3/4" w.
Dimensions: 9" d. (upper bookcase), 7 1/2" d. (inside shelf depth). Three shelves (one pine, two poplar), not adjustable. Lacking side mid molding. Original brasses. Feet reduced.
