Pennsylvania cherry and maple tall case clock, ca. 1785, with a broken arch bonnet, encasing a painted dial, inscribed Griffith Owen Philad., with an eight-day movement, the waist door centered by reeded corner columns over a raised panel base, all resting on ogee feet, 100" h.
Possibly apple. Finials replaced. Dial repainted. Feet replaced. 2" strip replaced to top of backboard.
