Pennsylvania carved full stock percussion fowler, approximately .64 caliber, with tiger maple stock, brass two-piece patch box, with several brass inlays, including a crescent above the cheek rest, which is centered by scrolled and checkered decoration, the lock inscribed W. Ketland, the hammer inscribed 4 J. C., the barrel with two proof marks and initialed WK, 43 1/2" octagonal to round barrel.
Overall good condition, converted from flintlock, small puttied patch above patch box, small repaired chip to toe, small crack in left side of stock at screw, pitting to barrel at breech.
