Pastel and gouache on paper folk portrait of a young girl, ca. 1800, 19" x 15".
Paper laid onto stretched canvas that appears to be quite old. Does not appear to be cut down (appears to be original size but hard to determine). Behind glass. Frame shows age, but image is held in with modern wire finish nails and piece has been rewired for hanging. Surface abrasions throughout.
