Pair of Queen Anne pistols, ca. 1810, approximately .55 caliber, with one rifled and one smoothbore barrel, bearing the mark of John Lambert of London, with polished steel barrels and hardware, decorated with silver wire inlay, relief carving around the barrel tangs, engraving, and trigger guard safeties, 5 1/2'' round screw barrels.

Condition

British black powder proofs forward of the scroll engraved trigger guard and marked LAMBERT. All metal has been brightly polished with some engraving polished off. Excellent hardwood stocks with silver wire inlays. Fully functional actions.
