Pair of Philadelphia Hepplewhite mahogany shieldback dining chairs, ca. 1795, each with an arched crest featuring an unusual carved pineapple over an interlacing splat with tulip and foliate carving, above a serpentine front slip seat supported by square molded tapering legs.
