Pair of Pennsylvania Chippendale mahogany dining chairs, ca. 1775, with pierced splats and ball and claw feet. Provenance: descended in the family of China Trade merchant, Captain John Green; Pook & Pook, Inc., March 19th, 2004, lot 445.
1 - small wooden brace added to rear of splat to secure break, corner blocks replaced, some scuffing to feet. 2 - small repaired break to splat, corner blocks replaced, some scuffing to feet.
