Pair of massive French Charles X rosewood veneer sofas, ca. 1830, each with scrolled ends and molded base with overall satinwood marquetry inlay, 33 1/2" h., 123 1/2" l.
Both in very good condition. Some losses/soiling to upholstery. A few veneer losses/cracks along back edge. Provenance: The Collection of Captain Hall Jackson Tibbits (1797-1872), Long Island, NY.
