Pair of George III mahogany knife boxes, late 18th c., with a serpentine fronts and barber pole inlaid edges, 14" h., 9" w.
Box #1 - very minor losses to inlaid banding, a few small patches. Box #2 - losses to inlaid banding, slight warp to lid, sporadic veneer patches, age crack to underside of lid.
