Pair of George II mahogany dining chairs, ca. 1740, each with herringbone inlaid splat and trapezoidal slip seat supported by shell carved cabriole legs terminating in pad feet.
Original slip seats. Chair #1 - split above knee, back legs restored, loss to one back foot. Chair #2 - loss to back feet, 3" patch to apron, cracks in knees.
