Pair of Continental mahogany open armchairs, mid 18th c., each with serpentine crest flanked by outward scrolling foliate carved arms supported by fully carved cabriole legs terminating in scroll feet.
Dimensions: 16" (seat height), 38 3/4" (overall height), 26 1/4" (overall width), 22" (seat depth). Late 19th c. One back leg with old break and repair. Estimate should read 1500-2500.
