Pair of carved and painted blackamoor figures, 19th c., 57 1/2" h.
Woman - both hands at wrist and part of stalk broken off and repaired, breaks evident, shrinkage cracks, bumps and rubs throughout, evidence of repair at ankles, overpainted, tips of some base leaves missing. Man - both arms broken and repaired at biceps and wrists, leaf of stalk reattached, bottom 4" of stalk reattached, left leg broken from calf to ankle and reattached, tips of some base leaves missing or reattached. Plinths by association.
