Pair of British flintlock pistols, approximately .58 caliber, with walnut stock, engraved brass trigger guard with pineapple finial, the locks inscribed Tayler & Manders, barrel proofs of a crown over a P and a crown over a V, 9" octagonal to round barrel. Provenance: The Firearms & Militaria Collection of Robert Spangler Jr., West Chester, Pennsylvania.
Very good overall condition, barrels turning grey, one with repaired break to stock at wrist, one with small hole at rear of side plate.
